Gray Blue - Convertible Desert Cap

Titled Hybrid Gears, the new line is a continuation of the Flexible Armor concept and delivers simplistic accessories that are great in changing climates and environments. Created from new customized textiles, the new line also employs concepts of layers, mixed materials, and mixed wear to establish a 3E scenario: Exploring, Existing, and Exercising that has been defined as the State of Urbanite as it contains the diverse lifestyles of an urban traveler and is designed for their demands and required functionality.

The desert cap was first launched in 2021 and has now been redesigned to make the back cover removable and added a built-in fastener to protect against strong winds. The cap still retains the two-stage magnetic fastener for adjusting the cap and uses the new split dual-layers design from the 22SS collection by layering mesh and nylon textiles along the side for better ventilation even under the hottest weather. 

The second wave of Hybrid Gears accessories considers different scenarios. In this vast city, we are in survival mode for the majority of the time. In between, we make plans for various activities that help relieve our stress, and this premise has inspired our designs for the second wave of Hybrid Gears which is also equipped with TEFLON® materials for superior water repellent and oilproof capabilities as you coexist with cities.

The new concept for the five-year anniversary of nozzle quiz is “Hybridity,” meaning mixed, hybrid, and coexistence.

DuPont® TEFLON™

To ensure great ventilation, we have selected the patented TEFLON™ fluoropolymers from DuPont® to deliver unprecedented waterproof capabilities and reduce surface tension on textiles to ensure waterproof, oilproof, quick-drying, and stain-resistant capabilities without changing the nature of the fabric.

NIFCO Buckles

High-quality, durable, and reliable NIFCO buckles made in Taiwan are adopted for their craftsmanship, elegant design, and seamless molds. 

Independently Developed Textiles

Lightweight nylon textiles developed independently at a Taiwan textile factory is shaped through high-temperature dyeing processes and other processes to create a high-density surface. The nylon is lighter than cotton but more structured while still comfortable to the touch. It also has great durability, anti-pilling properties, and colorfastness, even under the sun, making it perfect for daily life in the city.

Wrinkled Texture

The textile is created from a unique wet process, allowing the fabric to wrinkle naturally after dyeing to create minor wrinkles on the surface and offer texture in a full ensemble.
